Your Host: Eva Rosenberg EA, MBA
Eva revived and restructured the EA Exam Review course at UCLA Extension, then taught it through Eva’s Tax Class for several years. Starting her career, Eva trained in national and (then) Big-8 CPA firms, and has been in private practice for 25 years.
Publisher of one of the most popular and accessible tax websites – http://TaxMama.com – Eva has been representing taxpayers at audits and with collections issues forever. Eva is the go-to girl for tax professionals who can’t resolve audit or collections problems. She usually sees a quick and equitable solution.
Author of several books and articles, Eva writes a nationally syndicated tax column for Dow Jones’ Market Watch. (Back to top)
After a successful Executive career in television, Roger became interested in international taxation and was educated to the Masters Degree level in that discipline. His specialty is U.S. international taxation and treaty interpretation and he has have clients from all over the world.
In addition to his private practice, for five years, Roger was the head of the Volunteer Embassy/Consular Tax Assistance program (VECTA) for Portugal, and instructor and consultant on U.S. taxation to the Autonomous Regional Government of the Azores. He currently instructs members of the Portuguese government on U.S./ Portuguese tax issues.
Additionally, Roger has lectured, contributed articles, and consulted on international tax issues affecting both aliens and Americans to the Nat’l Assoc. of Tax professionals, American Citizens Abroad, Portuguese newspapers, and several tax forums.
In addition to a razor sharp mind, Roger is also a magnificent cook and specializes in French, Portuguese, and Asian cuisine; he even makes his own sushi. You will often find him enjoying one of his fabulous, gourmet snacks while he teaches your class.
