News from TaxMama’s® EA Exam Course

We’re getting lots of questions. No matter how much information I put up on the www.irsexams.com website, there’s always something more you want to know. So…let’s see what you and your friends have been asking.

Question. I want to sign up for the live class but I will be on an airplane for the 1st session of part 2. Is there a way to view that class after or before the date in question?
Answer. No problem. You will be able to listen later, anytime – to any session. In fact, you’ll be able to download the sessions and play them back over and over again, if you need reinforcement on any topic.

Question. Do the classes meet for 8 hrs. per week every week?
Answer. Yes. The classes meet on Tuesday and Thursday from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm + and on Saturday mornings from 8:00 am – noon +. We do run over sometimes, since the classes are open to student questions.

Question. With the overlap in class dates in June, how do you attend both classes if the times are the same?
Answer. [chuckle] Four of the classes relate to both Part I and Part II. So if you are in Part I only, you take the classes.

If you are in Part II, you start with the last 4 Part I classes.

Question. Is it normal to take the exam at the end of each course prior to started the next one?
Answer. It’s a good idea to take the exam soon after you finish studying each part. We have about a week break between sessions.

Question. I just want to confirm one thing. Does the cost include the books that ship in May or is there an extra cost for materials?
Answer. YOU BET the books and materials are included the in course. You can see what’s included in each course here:

Question. I have had a bankruptcy in the past. Will IRS reject my application?
Answer. The bankruptcy won’t matter. That is no longer a question on the Form 23 application.
